IMAGO VERBOSA
The name Imago Verbosa, means a picture made of words in Latin.
In the series “Imago Verbosa,” David Hollier creates images of cultural and political icons as composites of their famous words in the form of painted and typed text. Part social commentary and part documentary, Hollier’s work literally blurs the lines between pop culture and politics and invites us to consider the power of words to influence and endure.

WATERCOLOR
Hollier has tackled a number of mediums and styles. This includes Watercolor creations that adapt beautiful visions of life and moments in time.

STENCILS
A unique style that has seen Hollier's work flooded with interpretations and response, his Stencil creations feature cultural imagery overlayed on cigarette boxes.

LOGOS IN THE SKY
Haunting and yet sometimes beautiful, these are almost dystopian pieces by David Hollier. Portraying Logos and Iconography over striking cities and skylines.
